Create a team and manage workspace access

Invite team members, understand the universal member limit, and keep owner and member permissions separate.

Version 1Last reviewed 23 Aug 2026
Teams let an account owner collaborate with other users while preserving a clear owner boundary. The owner controls membership and can invite or remove members within the limit configured for the account’s strongest applicable plan.

A team member should only see and perform actions allowed by the workspace permissions assigned to them. Impersonation or workspace-management banners identify when you are operating inside another owner’s workspace.

Common questions

Why can’t a member manage the owner or another team? Ownership and membership boundaries are enforced separately. What happens at the member limit? Add-member actions are blocked until a seat is available or the applicable plan limit is changed by an administrator.

Steps

  1. Open Team management from the account or workspace menu.
  2. Review the current owner, members, roles, and available capacity.
  3. Invite a member using their account email and assign only the required permissions.
  4. Remove or update access when a person no longer needs it.
