Create campaigns and automations
Build reviewed campaigns, define workflow triggers, test messages, and monitor execution.
Version 1Last reviewed 23 Aug 2026
Campaigns send a deliberate communication to an audience. Automations respond to events such as a contact entering a list, a purchase, an abandoned cart, or another supported trigger. Define the audience, consent behavior, message, timing, and exit conditions before activating a workflow.
Use test sends and a small internal audience first. Review approval, scheduling, bounce, unsubscribe, and failure information. AI-assisted generation should be reviewed by a person before sending.
Common questions
Why did an automation not run? Check its active state, trigger event, audience conditions, schedule, consent, and execution log. Can I send immediately after editing? Use the supported test and approval flow so a draft is not mistaken for a final campaign.
Steps
- Open Campaigns or Automations.
- Define the audience, trigger, message, timing, and safeguards.
- Save a draft, review it, and send a test where available.
- Activate or schedule the workflow and monitor its report or execution log.
